          He was placed 7th on the Times of India "Most Promising Newcomers of 2011" list where they praised him for his good looks and nuanced performance.

          Prior to making his debut as an actor he was a model that has done print and ramp assignments. Sunny Gill belongs to a family that has its roots in Ludhiana, Punjab.
