          “To describe Director Shinbo in one sentence: He is a visualist who overwhelms his audience with maniacal visuals.

          Titles such as The Soul Taker and New Hurricane Polymar are his representative works. Last year, he presented three new shows one after another, starting with gothic-lolita horror, Le  Portrait de Petite Cossette, and two avant-garde moe anime, Magical Girl  Lyrical Nanoha and Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase.

          Akiyuki Shinbo[d] (Japanese: 新房 昭之, Hepburn: Shinbō Akiyuki, born Septem) is a Japanese animator, director, compositional writer, and storyboard artist.
